Breads bathed in moonlight

Dear Sam,
I’ve been having trouble sleeping again. It seems that every time I lay my head down, any fatigue I had from the day dissipates into the darkness. I just want to shut off but it’s not coming to me. I know you’ve had problems with insomnia in the past. Do you have any techniques?

I have certainly had my share of sleepless nights. I think the most useful approach for me was to keep a sleep log: When I laid down, how long it took me to get to sleep, number of times I woke up in the night. Plus a few words about what was going through my head at the time. I find it spits all the chatter out into the ink.
